In this paper, a new application of Bonobo (BO) metaheuristic optimizer is presented for PV parameter extraction. Its processes depict reproductive approach and the social conduct Bonobos. The BO algorithm employed to extract parameters both single diode double model. good performance experimentally investigated on three commercial modules (STM6-40 STP6-120/36) an R.T.C. France silicon solar cell under various operating circumstances. easy implement with less computational time. extensively compared other state art algorithms, manta ray foraging optimization (MRFO), artificial bee colony (ABO), particle swarm (PSO), flower pollination (FPA), supply-demand-based (SDO) algorithms. Throughout 50 runs, has best in terms minimal simulation time silicon, STM6-40/36 STP6-120/36 modules. fitness results obtained through root mean square (RMSE), standard deviation (SD), consistency solution demonstrate robustness BO.
